Ok So my dog eats cat Crap. I have admit, this I was not expecting.

The idea is the same as the Cheese Box (which you can read about in the post below this one) except here I'm guarding shit instead of food.

Champion Sired bloodlines my ass! My last dog was a mutt and he new not to eat other animals Fecal matter.

Evidently this is not a unique problem. If you Google “My dog eats cat poo” you get quite a few legitimate hits.

So my buddy Keith has this problem He has one fat cat, oh sorry that wasn't very PC, lets call him Gravitationally challenged, and one skinny one. The problem is that when he tried to restrict the heavy cats food intake Tons-O-Fun just wound up eating the skinny cats food so he made a cheese box (not sure where he came up with the name but I like it). Basically the idea is put the skinny cats food in a box and make the opening small enough so that the fat cat cant get though, Brilliant!!!!!!

Sue free feeds her cats (leaves food and water out 24/7 and the Cats graze whenever the feeling moves them) and ever since Cooper learned to navigate the steps in the basement the moment we turn our backs he has been gorging himself on the protein rich Pro Plan Cat food.

This usually makes for very um........very interesting bowel movements. Its also responsible for few times the Cooper Corral hasn't worked 100%.

My creation is basically a variation of his idea except I made a ramp leading up to a platform and the cats enter from a hole in the floor. As Cooper grows I can easily raise the height of the railing. I also made some scratching posts in hopes they would use them rather than my new leather sectional.

I'm not a big fan of locking the dog in his cage all day so I made a little Corral so that he can relieve himself outside of his sleeping area. The theory was that if he had to go at least he could avoid stepping in it. This has worked out most of the time.

Well I decided that getting engaged and buying a house just wasn't enough responsibility all at once so we decided to get a puppy.

Cooper is a pure breed, champion sired Golden Retriever. Both his mother and father were Westminster Best in Breeds.

I had to harass the breeder daily for a few weeks since she preferred to place Cooper with a family who intended to show him. In the end perseverance won out and now he is systematically destroying my new home!!!!!!

We did about 70 miles on Saturday (3.5 of those in complete darkness, we had some tire problems and that cost us 3 hours of daylight), which put us in Harpers Ferry, WV at about 8:30 pm. There we enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Econo Lodge where we were accosted hourly by Eric's impersonation of a Buzz Saw.

Sunday we did about 50 miles and ended up in Great Fall National park In MD. The full ride was about 14.5 miles more but again (this time due to a very late start) we ran out of daylight.

The original plan was to only do 120 miles, this may have been a little aggressive for 3 people who have never rode a mountain bike over 24 miles.

Next year we may do this 120 again in the spring and possibly the full 187-mile ride from Cumberland to DC in the fall.

Well after 5 weeks I finally got a Build Date on my new Hummer H3. Sept 26th is the start of build process. It should be at the dealer about 3weeks after that. So I'll only be a pedestrian for a month.
